Smart Dialysis Care Platform
System Overview
The platform is patient-centred, connecting the information needed at every stage of dialysis treatment. It integrates dialysis scheduling, physician orders, nursing records, vascular access, patient status changes, lab and exam reports, assessment scales and hospital-system data onto a single platform, keeping a complete, traceable record throughout care, and introduces AI-assisted prediction to help the clinical team make more timely, evidence-based decisions during treatment.
Objectives
Consistent records: unifies nursing records, physician orders, and assessment scales on a single patient timeline, so dialysis records are no longer scattered across paper and multiple systems, reducing the gap caused by cross-system lookups and manual transcription.,Decision support: uses AI-assisted prediction to flag changes worth watching in advance, introducing predictive models for key indicators such as haemoglobin so staff can spot abnormal trends early rather than relying on a single lab value.,Cross-site reuse: builds a shared architecture that can extend to other branch hospitals, using a single database structure with branch codes to separate data, so the platform can support each branch's own scheduling and settings on one shared system.
Outcomes
Clinical units: less duplicated work, leaving more time for patient care instead of data transcription.,Hospital management: a single source of data supports quality monitoring, schedule coordination and cross-department collaboration.,Patients and families: a complete care trail means changes in physical and mental condition are not lost across shift or staff changes.
