FHIR Multi-IG (Implementation Guide) Converter / Conversion Hub
System Overview
A highly flexible, extensible FHIR Implementation Guide (IG) conversion engine that solves the classic healthcare-integration pain point of "varied source formats, shifting standard versions." It accepts diverse data sources (HL7 v2 messages, hospital-specific formats, CSV/Excel files, SQL query results, or custom JSON/XML) and, through visual or declarative mapping rules, precisely cleanses, aligns and converts data into FHIR Profiles/IGs that meet specific international or local requirements (such as Taiwan's TW Core IG). A built-in automated semantic-validation mechanism ensures output resources fully comply with each IG's constraints and code-system rules.
Objectives
Supports multiple IGs at once — a dynamically switchable, extensible mapping module that serves different projects, subspecialties, or cross-border exchange needs simultaneously.,Automated cleansing and conversion of heterogeneous data — legacy HIS formats, free-text lab reports and more are auto-translated into standard FHIR resources via configurable mapping templates.,Strict IG compliance (validation) — before data is written to the FHIR repository, it's automatically checked against the target IG's Profile definitions and constraints, catching and fixing errors early.,Cuts maintenance cost for custom conversion code — configuration-driven design replaces hardcoded conversion logic, so spec updates can be applied quickly.
