Objectives
Deployed on mobile X-ray screening vans with a TB AI reading-assist model, automatically detecting TB risk from chest X-rays.
Outcomes
Previously, it took about three days from chest X-ray screening to a radiology read, and up to a week to get an at-risk individual back in for a sputum sample — a gap in the prevention chain. After the workflow was redesigned with an AI-assist model, arranging a sputum sample now takes just 5 minutes.
